E-LEARNING DESIGNER | INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER/EAST LONDON BASED or REMOTE - The core focus of the role is to collaborate with stakeholders in the design and development of learning content aligned with curriculum and sound instructional design principles and pedagogy. To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess high levels of creativity and innovation, learning and development capabilities, organisation skills, and a flair for detail.
ESSENTIAL WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 years of experience in instructional design.
Proven ability to translate a deep understanding of adult learning theory, design principles, and learning technology into practical solutions.
Demonstrated ability to work with subject matter experts successfully.
Demonstrated ability to work on your own and as a member of a collaborative team.
Experience in designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions with a mix of formal and informal elements.
QA (Deliver final content with a low error count).
Experience using instructional technology, including learning management systems, authoring tools, and video editing/
Proven working experience in instructional design, with instructional technology preferable.
Proven experience working with authoring tools, creating assets and interactive learning content.

Course and Module Design
Design and develop engaging online activities and content that achieve learning outcomes.
Be able to write and/or implement and develop a storyboard for learning solutions that are fit for purpose.
Apply sound instructional design principles to dual learning solutions within academic programmes. Utilise a variety of technologies in the design and delivery of innovative learning content.
Create functional prototypes, design course flows and write scripts for online lessons.
Develop eLearning solutions using an LMS and relevant authoring tools.
Develop supporting material (audio, visual and interactive) that reinforces the brand identity of the Institution.
Support and collaborate with the Student Support Office in creating student journey collateral content.
Support and collaborate with the Marketing Department in incorporating the Institutional brand into marketing material.
Report regularly to the Manager: E-Learning Development regarding deliverable management, training, and development needs.
